Where We Work

Supported remotely, anywhere. Onsite when it matters.

Managed IT is delivered over the internet in real time. Monitoring does not care where the monitoring station is, and neither does a patch, a restore, or a security alert at two in the morning. Distance stopped being the constraint it used to be.

Apex Tech Solutions is based in Dodd City, Texas, in Fannin County, and provides managed IT, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 administration, network infrastructure, backup and disaster recovery, and AI advisory across North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. Remote support covers the entire region. Onsite service is routine across Grayson, Fannin, Lamar, Hunt, Hopkins, Cooke and Collin counties in Texas and Bryan and Choctaw counties in Oklahoma. Apex works with businesses, municipalities, and organizations. Not home users.

Cities we know well enough to write about.

Each of these pages says something specific and true about doing business in that town, because a page that only swaps the city name is useless to you and to us.

Onsite Coverage

Where we regularly show up in person.

Most work never needs anyone in the building. When it does, these are the areas we cover as a matter of routine rather than as an exception.

Regular onsite coverage

  • Sherman, TX
  • Denison, TX
  • Bonham, TX
  • Paris, TX
  • Greenville, TX
  • Sulphur Springs, TX
  • Gainesville, TX
  • McKinney, TX
  • Allen, TX
  • Frisco, TX
  • Plano, TX
  • Prosper, TX
  • Anna, TX
  • Melissa, TX
  • Celina, TX
  • Van Alstyne, TX
  • Durant, OK
  • Hugo, OK

Outside that list, the answer is still usually yes. If the work is worth doing we will get there. Nobody gets told they are too far away.

Coverage Questions

What people ask before they call.

Do you have to be onsite to manage our IT?

Almost never. Monitoring, patching, backup verification, security alerting, Microsoft 365 administration and most troubleshooting are delivered remotely in real time. Onsite visits are for the work that genuinely needs hands on hardware: cabling, equipment installs, and the occasional problem that cannot be diagnosed down the wire.

Are you actually local, or a national company with a call center?

Local. Apex is based in Dodd City, in Fannin County, and the same people who answer the phone do the work. There is no overseas tier one queue and no ticket that gets handed to someone who has never seen your network.

How far will you travel for onsite work?

Routine onsite coverage runs across 18 cities in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma, from Gainesville east to Paris and from Durant south through the Collin County corridor. Outside that list the answer is still usually yes. If the work is worth doing we will get there.

Do you cover Oklahoma, or only Texas?

Both. Bryan County and southern Oklahoma are part of the regular service area rather than an exception. Apex is a member of the Durant Area Chamber of Commerce and covers Durant and Hugo as a matter of routine.

We have more than one location. Is that a problem?

No, and it is usually the reason a business stops trying to handle technology internally. Remote delivery means every site gets the same monitoring, the same patching schedule and the same security controls regardless of which building it sits in.

Do you work with home users?

No. Apex works with businesses, municipalities, and organizations only. If you need help with a personal laptop, a local retail repair shop is a better fit and will cost you less.

Not sure whether you are in range?

Call and ask. It takes thirty seconds and the answer is usually yes. Every inquiry gets a response the same business day.
